Environment, Health and Safety Decalogue Worldwide health plan ST launched a worldwide health plan in 2006 with the goal of providing the same level of medical care for all ST employees, wherever they are, based on best practices. It includes medical check-ups, bio-monitoring for employees exposed to chemical products, and educational programs including awareness of tobacco risks, nutrition, cancer prevention and cardio-vascular risks. Occupational health and safety management systems (OHSAS) All our sites have been OHSAS certified since 2003. In addition, we have evaluated over 20,000 workstations where chemicals were being used, in order to eliminate all risks. |
